Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Safety professional to lead Process Safety Management and drive risk controls across high‑hazard operations, including molten metal handling and gas systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field and 2–3 years in heavy manufacturing HSE. You will conduct hazard analyses, audits and coaching to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science or related field.
• Accreditation or membership to a recognised association preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a heavy manufacturing HSE/Operations role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) protocols for high‑risk areas.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve safety controls and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and local labour laws.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews with corrective actions.
• Prepare hazardous area classifications and safety drawings as needed.
• Develop dashboards to track safety performance indicators.
