Elite HR Consultancy in Dubai is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Operator to lead end-to-end sea freight operations, coordinating with carriers, preparing documents, and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will manage client relationships, apply Incoterms accurately, and stay abreast of carrier schedules and rates to optimize logistics. Fluency in English and UAE experience are essential.

• 3+ years of hands-on sea freight forwarding experience in Dubai, UAE.
• Existing client portfolio required.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and Incoterms.

• Manage end-to-end sea freight operations including booking, scheduling, and coordination with carriers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin).

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sea Freight Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in sea freight forwarding within the UAE, possess a solid client portfolio, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of shipping operations, documentation, and Incoterms. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end sea freight operations including booking, scheduling, and coordination with carriers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and manage all relevant shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight agents, and clients to ensure timely clearance and delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities from your own portfolio
• Monitor shipment schedules, resolve operational issues, and ensure all shipments meet compliance and customer requirements
• Stay updated with industry trends, carrier schedules, freight rates, and local regulations
• Ensure proper application of Incoterms in all shipments and transactions
• Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Customer Service) to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sea freight forwarding operations within Dubai, UAE
• Existing client portfolio is a must
• In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and Incoterms
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office and freight forwarding software/tools
