Job summary

Exceed IT Services client in Abu Dhabi is seeking an on-site IT Support Engineer to cover one or two school sites, providing first and second line support for end-user devices, classroom technology, and peripherals. You will perform routine server room checks, basic Windows Server administration, and Active Directory tasks, with a focus on rapid incident resolution and accurate ITSM ticketing.

Qualifications

• Windows 10/11 deployment, imaging and troubleshooting.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 basic administration, health checks and patch validation.
• Active Directory account administration under delegated rights; basic GPO troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 end-user support: Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint.
• Backup operations: job monitoring and restore requests.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi‑Fi.
• Hardware break‑fix for Dell/HP/Lenovo; printers and scanners.
• Classroom and lab tech: interactive panels, projectors, audio; ITSM tooling proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first and second line IT support for end-user devices, classroom tech and peripherals at assigned sites.
• Perform routine server room checks: environmental, UPS status, backup verification, hardware health.
• Carry out basic Windows Server administration under central direction: service restarts, patch validation, print and file services.
• Handle joiners, movers and leavers provisioning with Active Directory tasks.
• Support exams and computer lab readiness with pre-exam device checks and standby coverage.
• Maintain asset registers, consumables stock and site documentation.
• Provide floor-walking support for staff on Microsoft 365 and Teams.
• Provide first-line network support: patch panels, switch ports, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
• Log, update and close tickets in ITSM; escalate to L2/L3 with diagnostics.
