Deliver on-site IT support across one or two Small school sites providing near-resident coverage under a shared allocation model Covers 137 sites with 80 engineers at a ratio of approximately 1 1 7
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver first and second line support for all end-user devices classroom technology and peripherals at the assigned sites Perform routine server room checks - environmental UPS status backup job verification physical equipment health Carry out basic Windows Server administration under central direction - service restarts patch validation print and file service checks event log review Handle joiners movers and leavers device provisioning together with associated Active Directory account tasks Support examination sessions and computer lab readiness including pre-examination device checks and standby cover during sessions Maintain the local asset register consumables stock and site documentation Provide informal floor-walking support to teaching and administrative staff on Microsoft 365 and Teams Provide first-line network support - patch panel work switch port checks access point replacement Wi-Fi troubleshooting Log update and close all tickets accurately in the ITSM tool and elevate to L2 L3 with complete diagnostics.
