Job summary

Client of Exceed IT Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking an on-site IT administrator to own and deliver the technology services for a large estate spanning 86 sites with 86 engineers at a 1:1 ratio. You will manage Windows desktops/servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 while coordinating with site leadership and central teams.

The role covers device lifecycle, AV/classroom tech, imaging, backups, network support, and site reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Windows 10/11 estate management.
• Experience administering Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Strong AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 support across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint.
• Solid networking basics and Wi‑Fi optimization.
• Deployment tooling with imaging and packaging.
• Backup/restore platforms and ITSM reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT service delivery for the assigned site and act as the primary interface to the school principal or office head.
• Administer the local server room with backups, UPS, patching, capacity monitoring and environmental checks.
• Manage the full device estate lifecycle on site including refresh projects and bulk deployments.
• Ensure AV and classroom technology availability across teaching spaces.
• Provide first-line network support and coordinate with central network teams on escalations.
• Oversee site-level computer labs, imaging cycles and examination configuration.
• Produce site-level service reports for the Zone Lead on volumes, SLA attainment and risks.
• Coordinate during major incidents and examination periods on site.
• Maintain CMDB currency, assets, spares, and consumables.
• Manage on-site vendor and OEM attendance, access and sign-off.
