School HR Specialist: Onboarding & Compliance

Job summary

Taaleem is seeking an experienced HR support professional to provide empathetic people-related HR support within a school setting in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the key contact for new, current, and exiting staff on employment matters and offer expert guidance to School Leadership on HR issues.

You will handle onboarding, visa/process management, contracts, probation and performance cycles, payroll-related tasks, and HR reporting to ensure compliance with UAE requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; HR qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in a supporting HR role in a school/organization.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be primary point of contact for all staff HR issues including contracts, terms, payroll, housing, policies, leave and entitlements.
• Update CTC and Benefit tracker.
• Manage onboarding for all incoming staff, including IT setup and staff IDs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
