Job summary

Taaleem in Abu Dhabi seeks an HR Support professional to provide empathetic, effective HR assistance for school staff. You will act as a key contact for employment matters and guide school leadership on HR issues, ensuring contracts, payroll, housing, and policies are well managed.

You will manage onboarding, visa processes, and KHDA/ADEK compliance, coordinate recruitment and offer letters, and support performance and benefits cycles with attention to confidentiality and professional judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder; HR qualification or professional accreditation preferred.
• 2+ years in a supportive HR role; UAE labour law knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficient IT skills and HRMS familiarity; strong organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for school staff on HR issues (contracts, terms, payroll, housing, policies, leave).
• Manage onboarding for new staff, including IT setup and staff IDs.
• Coordinate visa, work permits, KHDA/ADEK applications and renewals; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate recruitment activity, arrange interviews, and update stakeholders on progress.
• Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, renewals, and amendments.
• Support probation, performance reviews, and appraisal cycles.
• Manage Life and Health Insurance applications and renewals.
• Conduct pre-employment due diligence and reference checks.
