Job summary

Horizontal Digital, Dubai-based, seeks an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead scalable Salesforce solutions for Fortune 500 clients. You will own technical architecture across Sales, Service, and Industry clouds, working hands-on while guiding teams, reviews, and solution design.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in consulting and Salesforce across multiple clouds, strong integration expertise, and certification mastery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of client-facing consulting focused on Salesforce architecture.
• 8+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Preferred experience with Data Cloud, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud.
• Experience working with cross-functional project teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Strong system documentation skills (ERDs, sequence diagrams, etc.).
• Experience designing scalable integration patterns with external systems.
• Salesforce Architect domain certifications are required.

Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Technical Architect at Horizontal Digital, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high‑performing Salesforce solutions for our clients. You’ll be responsible for technical architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical requirements. We’re looking for a hands‑on architect who can operate as a player/coach. In this role, you’ll guide development teams while actively participating in technical design, solution reviews, and delivery. You’ll collaborate across functional, technical, integration, and data workstreams, and communicate solution choices clearly to both business and IT stakeholders. This role requires strong Salesforce technical and system integration expertise, along with a mindset focused on learning and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

• Design and own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, and industry‑specific clouds
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional leads to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Evaluate and design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware
• Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards for scalability, security, and performance
• Guide development teams through design reviews, best practices, and code quality oversight
• Define API standards and data models to support a well‑architected approach
• Support pre‑sales activities through solutioning, effort estimation, and architecture advisory
• Create and maintain technical documentation including ERDs, sequence diagrams, and architecture blueprints

Who you are:

• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce technical architectures
• Comfortable working directly with clients to shape technical solutions aligned with business goals
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to both business and technical stakeholders
• Skilled in guiding and mentoring developers, and conducting code and design reviews
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security model, deployment architecture, and performance considerations
• Strong background in integration approaches including RESTful APIs, middleware platforms, and batch/real‑time interfaces
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce release strategies

What you bring:

• 8+ years of client‑facing consulting experience with a focus on Salesforce architecture and solution design
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• Preferred experience with Data Cloud, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud
• Experience working within cross‑functional project teams to understand requirements and deliver secure, scalable solutions
• Strong system documentation skills (ERDs, process flows, sequence diagrams, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience designing scalable integration patterns with external systems
• Required certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and one or more Salesforce Architect domain certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect)
• Experience working in Agile project methodologies, including estimation and planning across multi‑disciplinary teams
