Qualifications

• UAE resident with an active network in the building materials/tile industry.
• Experience selling ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, sanitaryware, or similar building materials.
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales with tile distributors, contractors, developers, architects, or interior design firms.

• Identify and develop new customers in the UAE market.
• Promote ceramic and porcelain tile products to trade buyers.
• Arrange meetings, present product catalogues and samples.
• Follow up quotations and convert them into orders.
• Coordinate with distributors and the India-based head office regarding inquiries and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers in the UAE market
• Generate sales leads from tile distributors wholesalers retailers contractors builders architects and interior designers
• Promote the company s ceramic and porcelain tile products
• Arrange customer meetings and present product catalogues and samples
• Build long-term relationships with customers and distributors
• Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines
• Coordinate with the India head office regarding inquiries quotations orders and deliveries
• Follow up on quotations and convert them into confirmed orders
• Collect market intelligence on competitors pricing and customer requirements

Requirements

• UAE resident with an active, established network in the building materials / tile industry — not open to relocation candidates
• Prior experience selling ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, sanitaryware, or similar building materials, ideally with an importer, distributor, or manufacturer
• Proven track record of generating leads and closing sales with tile distributors, contractors, developers, architects, or interior design firms
• Comfortable working on a commission-only structure and managing their own schedule/travel across the UAE
• Confident, persuasive communicator who can present product catalogues and samples professionally to trade and retail buyers
• Reliable and process-oriented — able to follow up consistently on quotations and coordinate smoothly with an overseas (India-based) head office
• Fluent in English; Arabic and/or Hindi is a plus for dealing with a wider customer base
• Owns a vehicle and holds a valid UAE driving licence to visit clients across emirates
• Entrepreneurial mindset — treats the territory like their own business and is motivated by commission-based earning potential
• Prior experience as a freelance/independent sales agent (rather than only in-house sales roles) is an advantage
