Job summary

Roads and Transport Authority in the United Arab Emirates seeks a field maintenance professional to supervise electromechanical systems, oversee preventive activities, and respond to emergencies. The candidate will work across tunnels, bridges, and other infrastructure, using BMMS and Maximo for data integration and reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Civil Technology.
• Experience: 2+ years with Technical/Engineering Diploma; 4+ years with Industrial High School in related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess long-term repair and replacement needs of electromechanical systems based on inspection trends and contractor reports.
• Supervise daily, routine, and preventive maintenance activities per approved schedules; ensure quality via site visits and checklists.
• Receive and respond to emergency maintenance requests from control centres, departments, and public authorities; coordinate swift action.
• Monitor contractor performance, validate joint measurements, and verify BoQ compliance prior to work approval.
• Attend site meetings for project handovers and prepare snag lists for Director’s office review.
• Coordinate NOC evaluations for road structure-related works and provide site-based assessments and technical recommendations.
• Inspect electromechanical systems and supervise corrective actions with subcontractors in alignment with safety policies.
