Job summary

STORY Hospitality – Al Maya Island & Resort in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Front Office Associate (Receptionist) to join the team. This on-site, full-time role centers on delivering warm, professional service from arrival through departure, and acting as the first point of contact for guests.

You will handle check-ins/outs, reservations, communications with departments, and guest requests, using OPERA PMS, while maintaining accurate records and promoting resort facilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder.
• Minimum 1 year of Front Office or Reception experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a resort.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with OPERA PMS.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and relocate to Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, villa allocations, and profiles using OPERA PMS.
• Process payments, handle cash transactions, and complete cashier closing procedures accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Sales, and other departments for arrivals, departures, and VIP guests.
• Monitor room and villa status while preparing daily operational reports.
• Manage reception emails, pending guest requests, and shift handover documentation.
• Promote resort facilities, services, and events while encouraging guest feedback.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and fully operational.
• Follow all security, safety, hygiene, and confidentiality policies while supporting additional tasks assigned by management.
