Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office operations.
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and hotel reservation systems.
• Understanding of yield management and room inventory control.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good coordination skills with cross-functional hotel departments.
• Knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, and packages.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone and email reservation requests promptly and professionally.
• Check room availability, apply correct rates, and confirm or decline bookings based on inventory status.
• Ensure accurate data entry of guest details, special requests, and booking guarantees.
• Review next-day arrivals to confirm accuracy and coordinate special arrangements with Front Office.
• Maintain and monitor allotment lists and prepare monthly materialization reports.
• Follow up on pending vouchers and guarantee letters before guest arrival.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Credit, and Front Office departments regarding booking status and rate updates.
• Support implementation of yield management and room inventory control principles.
• Update reservation documentation and system notes using standardized communication formats.
• Monitor booking channels and ensure rate integrity across systems.
• Report system discrepancies or rate issues to Sales and Marketing teams.
• Provide support for last-minute group bookings and stranded passenger cases.
