Role Description

The Reservations Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this position, the Reservations Agent will handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels, providing accurate information on availability, rates, and services.

The role includes creating, modifying, and canceling reservations in the booking system, ensuring all details are correctly recorded and updated.

The Reservations Agent will respond promptly to guest requests, manage special requirements, and coordinate with relevant internal teams to deliver a smooth booking experience.

Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining up-to-date knowledge of promotions and policies, handling payment and guarantee procedures, and following standard operating procedures to support high guest satisfaction and efficient reservation operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and clearly with guests and colleagues.
• Experience with reservation or booking systems, basic data entry skills, and comfort working with digital tools and platforms.
• Good organizational and time management abilities, including attention to detail and accuracy when processing reservations.
• Problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset, with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and last-minute changes calmly.
• Previous experience in hospitality, front office, or call center environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in the region are beneficial.
• Basic numerical skills for handling rates, discounts, and payment-related tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or tourism is a plus.
