Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager based in the United Arab Emirates to lead a talented engineering team in a fully remote, globally distributed environment. You will balance technical leadership with people management to deliver high-value products.

You will own roadmaps, drive technical decisions, hire and develop engineers, and continually improve engineering practices. This role emphasizes hands-on involvement with code and designs while maintaining autonomy in a low-structure

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a background in Clojure or frontend technologies (React/TypeScript).
• Ability to read code and technical design documentation and participate in technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and support a team of engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Plan and execute the product roadmap with Product, Design, and Success stakeholders.
• Coach engineers and develop their careers in a low-structure environment.
• Remove obstacles and continuously improve team processes to accelerate delivery.
• Hire, onboard, and develop high-caliber contributors and nurture collaboration.
