Jobgether is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript, React 18+) for a fully remote role based in the United Arab Emirates. You will own features end-to-end, design scalable APIs, and build high-quality web apps with a modern stack.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend.
• Advanced proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong React 18+ experience and modern patterns.
• Automated testing with Vitest or Jest.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge.
• Tailwind CSS and TanStack Query proficiency.
• OAuth/OIDC and session-based auth expertise.
• API design and external service integrations.
• Linux command-line familiarity; Git for collaboration.
• Ability to incorporate AI-powered tools into workflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain, and improve web apps using Node.js, TS, React.
• Own end-to-end features from design to deployment and optimisation.
• Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs; integrate with external services.
• Build responsive, accessible UIs with React, Tailwind, TanStack Query.
• Implement secure authentication with OAuth/OIDC and session-based auth.
• Maintain engineering standards with tests, reviews, and CI/CD.
• Write efficient SQL for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product/design/engineering to ship features.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and performance improvements.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity while preserving quality.
