Job summary

Partner Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Engineering Manager, Managed Services to lead a distributed cloud-operations team responsible for Kubernetes and OpenStack-based environments, balancing reliability with engineering quality. This role combines people leadership, technical decision-making, and customer collaboration in a remote, international setting.

You will drive disciplined engineering and operations processes, oversee service delivery across customer deployments worldwide,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software engineering or leading technical operations teams.
• Demonstrated OpenStack experience.
• Strong understanding of testing and software quality practices.
• Experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian a plus).
• Solid understanding of cloud architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with agile methodologies and remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing engineering team, improving development velocity and operational quality.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of managed services across customer environments.
• Establish engineering and operations processes for scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor team health indicators and drive improvements in collaboration and performance.
• Maintain focus on priorities, milestones, and customer commitments.
• Represent the managed services team with customers, stakeholders, and partners.
• Ensure SLAs are met across deployments worldwide.
• Drive product/process improvements from feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
