Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank in the UAE seeks a Specialist – Business Support to assist the Department Head with confidential tasks and ensure smooth departmental operations. The role focuses on accuracy, discretion, and timely delivery within the Retail Banking Group.

You will prepare, consolidate, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, coordinate client documents across departments, and manage correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in corporate banking.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial support and assistance to the Department Head on a wide range of assigned tasks, ensuring the required level of confidentiality is maintained in order to contribute to the running of the department to the agreed standards.
• Prepare, consolidate, and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Compile management information and presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate and track client-related documents across departments to ensure service level agreements and turnaround times are met.
• Manage departmental correspondence, memos, and official documentation.
• Organize meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Ensure adherence to all Bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of departmental requirements.
