Job summary

Manpower Middle East is staffing a leading banking institution in the United Arab Emirates for an Accounting Specialist role. You will report to the Finance and Regulatory Reporting function and support accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance activities.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, regulatory reporting experience, and analytical skills, with 3–5 years in banking or financial services.

Qualifications

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with internal controls and regulatory rules.
• Process and validate debit and credit entries; support month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and update regulatory reports, including BRFs for the Central Bank.
• Support Basel-related reporting and other regulatory frameworks.
• Analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and propose process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle debit/credit entries and assist month-end close.
• Prepare BRFs and central bank regulatory submissions.
• Assist Basel reporting and regulatory frameworks adherence.
• Analyze data, reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, implement improvements.
