Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive seeks a Regional Business Head for Marine and Power Products to lead a high‑impact portfolio across UAE, Qatar and Oman. You will shape regional strategy, drive commercial growth, provide technical leadership and oversee aftersales governance for Honda marine propulsion, power generation, batteries and energy storage products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Technology, Energy Systems or related technical subject.
MBA is preferred for candidates combining engineering and commercial leadership.
10+ years in marine propulsion, power generation, batteries, energy storage or related sectors.
At least 5 years managing a regional operation or technical‑commercial business unit.
Strong with strategic planning, profitable expansion, pricing and negotiations.
Ability to lead diverse teams across GCC countries and communicate with senior stakeholders.
Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and service quality.

Responsibilities

Build and implement a coordinated regional business plan for UAE, Qatar and Oman.
Lead marine propulsion, power equipment, battery systems and energy‑storage solutions.
Evaluate customer applications, market segments and partnerships.
Study competitors and evolving customer requirements and industry trends.
Translate findings into pricing, sales, service and investment decisions.
Direct sales, aftersales, technical and operational teams across all countries.
Drive revenue growth, profitability, market share and operating efficiency.
Strengthen team capability through education and commercial development programs.
Provide senior technical input for customer projects and product improvements.
Develop relationships with strategic customers, distributors and partners.
Negotiate major deals while protecting value and service commitments.
Maintain cost discipline and improve margins across portfolio.
Coordinate demand forecasts, stock and regional supply planning.
Balance product availability with market demand and inventory exposure.
Standardize aftersales processes and monitor SLA performance.
Track customer satisfaction and address service quality concerns.
Ensure safety, regulatory and quality compliance in every location.
