Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive seeks a Regional Head to lead the Honda Marine and Power Products business across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. The role drives regional strategy, profitability, and product excellence, balancing pricing, inventory, and aftersales quality.

You will shape market entry, partnerships and customer experience while guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Technology, Energy Systems or related field.
• MBA or comparable postgraduate qualification preferred.
• At least 10 years in marine propulsion, power generation, battery systems or related sectors.
• Minimum 5 years leading regional operations or a technical–commercial unit.
• Strong track record of developing strategy and profitable growth.
• Understanding of sales, aftersales and service-quality management.
• Commercial confidence in pricing, negotiations and partnership development.
• Ability to lead teams across countries and market conditions.
• Analytical decision-making with performance data.
• Clear communication with customers, technical specialists and stakeholders.
• Focus on safety, compliance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional strategy for Honda Marine and Power Products.
• Identify new customer segments, applications, partnerships and opportunities.
• Convert competitor intelligence and trends into commercial action plans.
• Direct cross-functional teams across UAE, Qatar and Oman.
• Establish market objectives for revenue, margin, market share and service.
• Strengthen pricing discipline, cost control and profitability.
• Manage strategic customer relationships and partnerships.
• Provide technical direction for complex projects and product enhancements.
• Develop leadership through training and knowledge transfer.
• Oversee demand forecasting, inventory planning and supply-chain coordination.
• Improve forecast accuracy while balancing product availability and working capital.
• Monitor SLAs, aftersales processes and customer satisfaction indicators.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and quality compliance.
• Track developments in marine propulsion, power equipment, batteries and energy storage.
• Develop capable leadership teams and promote accountability across markets.
