Job summary

The Hershey Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Business Development Manager for the Export Cluster to drive growth across Africa and the LEVANT by opening new markets and customers and strengthening relationships with regional distributors. You will own the full commercial agenda in a lean, startup-style setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial FMCG experience, with export or new-market development.
• Proven track record opening new markets and customers in Africa and/or LEVANT.
• Established network of trade and distributor contacts across Africa and LEVANT.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and trade landscape across Africa and LEVANT.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and open new customers and markets across Africa and LEVANT; leverage regional networks.
• Develop go-to-market plans for markets with limited Hershey presence; scale to running operations.
• Create and execute customer growth and joint business plans for new accounts.
