Job summary

The Hershey Company in Dubai is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand Africa and LEVANT exports. You will own market entry strategies, establish new customers, and partner with regional distributors to drive growth across the cluster.

Responsibilities include market development, regulatory navigation, and commercial execution with a lean, entrepreneurial mindset. This role offers exposure to multinational FMCG and growth opportunities in a dynamic region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FMCG commercial experience with export/new-market growth.
• Proven track record opening new markets or customers in Africa/LEVANT.
• Established regional trade and distributor network across Africa/LEVANT.
• Working knowledge of regulatory/trade landscapes in Africa/LEVANT.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial, independent operator in lean setups.

Responsibilities

• Identify and open new customers and markets across Africa and LEVANT.
• Develop go-to-market plans and joint business plans for new accounts.
• Manage and grow relationships with regional distributors.
• Monitor distributor performance and route-to-market effectiveness.
• Navigate import/trade regulatory requirements and translate into action.
• Drive in-store execution, visibility, and promotions for the cluster.
• Analyze sales trends and provide forecasting for expansion priorities.
