Job summary

SO/ Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Receiving Agent to ensure accurate check-in of delivered goods and proper storage. You will inspect, document, and update inventory records, while coordinating with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and support stock audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics is a plus.
• Experience as Receiving Agent or Stock Clerk in hospitality or retail helps.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy in inspections and documentation.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Clear communication with suppliers, vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and verifying against purchase orders for quantity, quality and specs.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, especially perishable items.
• Complete and file receiving paperwork, update inventory in the system.
• Store goods properly and maintain a clean receiving area.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies to Purchasing In-Charge.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and process returns.
• Assist in regular stock counts and audits with the Purchasing team.
• Follow safety and health regulations in handling goods and storage.
