Job summary

Ennismore's SO/ Ras Al Khaimah hotel is seeking a Receiving Agent to manage inbound goods, verify deliveries against purchase orders, and ensure accurate records. You will inspect items, maintain a clean receiving area, coordinate with vendors, assist in stock audits, and support the Purchasing team while following safety and sustainability practices.

This role requires attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift items in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training in supply chain is a plus.
• Experience as Receiving Agent, Stock Clerk or similar in hospitality/retail.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational skills to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong communication with suppliers and teams.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Office.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify against PO details.
• Inspect goods for damage and quality; report issues.
• Complete and file receiving paperwork; update inventory system.
• Organize stock and maintain clean receiving area.
• Update inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in stock audits and reconciliations.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling food and chemicals.
• Report discrepancies promptly and support with procurement.
• Support other departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow sustainability practices.
