Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support post-contract commercial administration on UAE projects. The role covers re-measurement, interim and final accounts, and cost reporting, with exposure to variations, claims, and contract sums.

Candidates should have a Quantity Surveying degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with CostX or similar QS software. A client or consultant background is preferred. UAE work is involved.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-contract commercial administration including re-measurement and interim/final accounting.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, variations, contractor claims, provisional sums, and prime costs.
• Administer Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds; attend design and commercial meetings.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within UAE.

Your role

Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university. Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management. Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
