Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, contracts and valuations on high-profile projects. You will support cross‑disciplinary teams, ensure accurate measurement using CostX/Planswift, and maintain robust reporting across multiple sectors.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong English documentation skills. This is a fixed-term contract with competitive benefits and a focus on giga-projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience, with 5+ years on government or major UAE programs.
• Proven capability in remeasure contracts, cost control and valuation of site works.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding, variations and change workflows.
• Understanding of WIR/MIR processes and their impact on cost and progress validation.
• Strong analytical, measurement and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantity surveying activities on hospitality, residential, buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain cost control, remeasure contracts, and valuation of site works.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and present findings in English.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

• Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years on government or major UAE programs.
• Proven capability in remeasure contracts, cost control, and valuation of site-wide works.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding, particularly with variations and change workflows.
• Understanding of WIR/MIR processes and their impact on cost and progress validation.
• Strong analytical, measurement, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in measurement tools (CostX, Planswift, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Experience on giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure developments is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi discipline environment.
