Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team on high-profile projects across hospitality, residential and infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. You will handle post‑contract commercial administration, cost reporting, variations and final accounts, and attend key commercial meetings with design and client teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years post‑degree experience, and proficiency with CostX or similar QS software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Knowledge of QS software CostX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration including re-measurement, interim and final account payments.
• Prepare Monthly Cost Reports and manage variations, contractor claims, and provisional sums.
• Attend design and commercial meetings and manage insurances and bonds.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university. Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management. Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.. Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
