Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join the UAE team on high-profile projects across sectors in UAE, with responsibilities in post-contract commercial management.

Requirements include a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years post-degree experience and proficiency with CostX. Strong English writing and interpersonal skills are essential. Competitive tax-free salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with FIDIC contracts and commercial management.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Knowledge of CostX or similar QS software.

Responsibilities

• Post-Contract duties including re-measurement, interim and final accounts.
• Assessments of payment applications and monthly cost reports.
• Manage variations, contractor claims, provisional sums and prime costs.
• Oversee insurances, bonds and attendance of design/commercial meetings.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract

Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About You

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc..
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
