Job summary

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is seeking a QA/QC Inspector with 4–7 years of UAE infrastructure experience. You will inspect materials, workmanship, and activities to ensure compliance with project specs and RTA standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing deliveries and test certificates, preparing IRs and NCRs, and coordinating with engineers and subcontractors. You will support method statements, ITPs, and ISO 9001 quality management practices on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of QA/QC inspection experience on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of material testing, quality control, and RTA standards.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of materials, workmanship, and activities per project specifications and RTA standards.
• Review material deliveries, test certificates, and inspection reports before acceptance.
• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and utility works against drawings and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain IRs, NCRs, and corrective action records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
• Assist in preparing method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality checklists.
• Ensure testing of materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) per project and RTA requirements.
• Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, backfilling, and finishing for compliance.
• Report deviations or quality issues and follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and implement recommendations.
• Support QA/QC Engineers in monthly quality reports and handover dossiers.
• Ensure ISO 9001 quality management systems are followed.

• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and utility works to ensure conformity with approved drawings and quality procedures.

• Prepare and maintain inspection requests (IRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action records.

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.

• Assist in preparing method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality checklists.

• Ensure testing of materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, etc.) is conducted as per project and RTA requirements.

• Monitor concrete pouring, compaction, backfilling, and finishing activities for compliance with standards.

• Report deviations or quality issues and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Participate in internal and external quality audits and implement recommendations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within RTA or major UAE infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality control processes
• Familiarity with RTA quality standards, specifications, and inspection procedures
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and test results accurately
• Proficiency in MS Office and documentation management systems (Aconex preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with consultants and project teams
