Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineering QA/QC professional to oversee construction supervision on Building & Infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role requires ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders.

You will review MIRs/WIRs, raise NCRs, monitor contractor performance, and maintain QA/QC records, ITPs, and method statements to drive quality and successful project close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 9+ years of overall experience in Building & Infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years of UAE experience (mandatory).
• Experience in Construction Supervision Consultancy projects.
• Strong knowledge of NCR, MIR, WIR, ITPs, Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are in accordance with drawings, specs and contract requirements.
• Review and monitor MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) and WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) submitted by contractors.
• Raise, track, and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Verify compliance with approved Method Statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
• Monitor contractor performance and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, Contractors, Authorities, and Project Stakeholders.
• Verify completed works prior to approvals, handovers, and project close-out.

Job description

Review and monitor MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) and WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) submitted by contractors
