Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Manager - Public Area to lead the hotel housekeeping public areas team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service for guests. You will supervise colleagues, coordinate rosters, conduct inspections, and work with HR on recruitment while maintaining Forbes 5-Star classification guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar 5* hotel position, strong English communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented leadership approach in a luxury resort

Qualifications

• Graduate in Hotel Management/Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' previous experience in a similar position in a 5* hotel.
• Strong English communication in verbal and written form.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Experience in a luxury hotel environment and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate housekeeping public areas and staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform inspections of all public areas and ensure tools/equipment function properly.
• Coordinate deep cleaning and special task schedules in public areas.
• Assist HR with recruitment and onboarding of colleagues; manage rosters and scheduling.
• Monitor budget and departmental expenses; report to leadership; support training initiatives.
