Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Manager - Public Area to join the resort's hotel Housekeeping Public Area team. The role focuses on overseeing colleagues, maintaining cleanliness, and enforcing resort standards across all public spaces.

Ideal candidates hold a Hotel Management diploma and have 2+ years in a 5-star hotel, with strong leadership and English communication skills. Competitive AED salary, healthcare, and generous leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Hotel Management/ Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' previous experience in a similar position, in 5* Hotel.
• Strong communication skills - Fluent in English - Verbal, written and reading.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all Colleagues, ensuring Guests receive prompt and courteous service and all areas of the operations are running as per resort standard procedures and policies.
• Carry out Inspections of all areas.
• Inspect and ensure all tools and equipment are functioning as per resort standards.
• Coordinate and manage deep cleaning and special task schedules, ensuring all public areas are kept as per resort standards.
• Monitor and report to the Director of Housekeeping regarding the upkeep of furnishings, facilities and equipment.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline Colleagues, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
• Oversee departmental expenses, ensure inventories of operating equipment, linen and supplies are maintained.
• Control and analyze department budget, ensure performance of the department is in accordance with budget.
