Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is seeking an experienced IT Project Office leader in Dubai to drive the successful delivery of strategic IT programs. You will oversee resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and quality, working with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in IT project management, with strong PM software experience (Monday.com, MS Project, Jira) and certifications such as PRINCE2/Agile or PMP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 or Agile, PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience in IT.

Responsibilities

  • Execute IT Project Office strategies, processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Manage and oversee resource allocation across IT projects for optimal utilization.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines using tools like Monday.com/Jira to meet deadlines, budget, and quality.
  • Monitor performance with KPIs; report via progress reports and presentations to aid decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage scope changes and contingency planning.
  • Build and grow relationships with clients and internal stakeholders for alignment and satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage the IT project team; delegate tasks and resolve conflicts.
  • Oversee integration of new or existing applications and digital transformation projects with risk assessment and training.
  • Conduct post-mortems and create recommendations reports on project success/failure.
  • Oversee project budgets to ensure value and financial constraints.
