Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance under supervision at our Dubai facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering, with at least 3 years in hospitality or facility management. You will follow safety protocols, maintain logs, and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering from a recognized college.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on systems under supervisor guidance.
• Inspect and record readings on prescribed logs or checklists.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and optimize consumables usage.
• Complete work efficiently, professionally, and tidily before, during and after each job.
• Communicate with supervisor about work performed and handover pending tasks at shift end.
• Use appropriate PPE while performing maintenance services.
• Conform to ISO 9001:2000 quality policy and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The job holder along with the team will be executing all activities (repairs, maintenance work) assigned by the Supervisor, with his guidance and help, on the day-to-day work.

Key Result Areas:

• Carry out all scheduled / non- scheduled maintenance services of systems under the guidance of the concerned Supervisor in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect and record all necessary readings on prescribed log sheet or checklist.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and optimizes use of consumables.
• Ensure that all work activities are carried out in an efficient, professional and tidy manner before, after and during the job.
• Communicate with supervisor on the work performed and handover jobs that are still pending before the end of the shift.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE's) while performing maintenance services.
• Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 International Standards and execute his/her responsibility according to the department work procedures reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Qualification:

• A Diploma holder in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering from recognized college and institute.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience or hands on work experience in similar position in Hospitality, Catering, Facility Management or Project Management Industry.
