Job summary

Ayat Group is seeking a qualified Project Engineer – Development & Project Management to support and coordinate in development, construction, and infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on project coordination experience, and a solid understanding of UAE development procedures. 5–8 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical background to support and oversee project execution including design stage.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and execution of real estate and construction projects from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with development, design, engineering, and construction teams to align objectives.
• Review project requirements and provide technical recommendations for efficient execution.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants and other design consultants during design development.
• Ensure designs comply with approved specs, building codes, and UAE authority requirements.
• Review drawings to identify discrepancies and coordination issues.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and quality.
• Coordinate with UAE authorities, utility providers, and master developers for permits and inspections.
• Follow up on building permits, design approvals, construction permits, utility connections, and completion certificates.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and environmental requirements.
• Follow up on snagging and defect rectification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, development, and execution of real estate and construction projects from the initial concept through completion and handover.
• Coordinate with the development, design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Review project requirements and provide technical recommendations to support efficient project execution.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other design consultants throughout the design development process.
• Ensure that project designs comply with approved specifications, applicable building codes, and relevant UAE authority requirements.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings to identify discrepancies and coordination issues.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and construction quality.

• Proven ability to manage and lead projects from the planning stage through to successful completion, ensuring delivery within the agreed quality, timeline, and budget.
