Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a technically strong Civil Project Engineer to oversee construction projects in the UAE, starting with our Al Quoz development. You will review drawings, monitor site progress, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure quality, cost control and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include evaluating variations, reviewing payment applications, and providing concise progress updates to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of building construction experience, including UAE projects.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Practical site supervision, quality control, variations and payment reviews.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority procedures.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and track actions.
• Assess proposed changes, variations and their cost and timeline implications.

• Follow up on inspections, approvals, snagging and handover documentation.

We are looking for a technically strong Civil Project Engineer to oversee construction projects on behalf of the client initially supporting our Al Quoz development The role involves technical review site monitoring and consultant contractor coordination to ensure quality cost and timely delivery Review drawings, specifications and BOQs to identify discrepancies and scope gaps.

• Monitor site progress and quality across civil, structural, finishing and MEP coordination works.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and track actions.
• Assess proposed changes, variations and their cost and timeline implications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of building construction experience, including UAE projects; exposure to different project types preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, construction methods, specifications and BOQs.
• Practical experience in site supervision, quality control, variations and payment reviews.
• Knowledge of Dubai authority procedures is a must.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Strong technical judgement, communication and follow-up skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence; client-side or consultant-side experience preferred.
