Job summary

Alfiras General Contracting - L.L.C in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead high-rise and commercial civil construction projects. You will plan, supervise, and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

You will coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, monitor progress, and report regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of civil construction experience.
• 2–3 years UAE experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience on High-Rise Building projects.
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise all civil construction activities on site.
• Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, specs, quality standards, and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve milestones.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Review drawings and resolve technical issues with design and engineering teams.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health and safety, and company policies.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to meet specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP, QA/QC, Planning, and Procurement for delivery.
• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and management.
• Monitor costs and assist in budgeting and resource utilization.
• Ensure timely completion of projects with quality and safety.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Civil Construction.

• At least 2-3 years UAE experience as a Project Engineer.

• Proven experience in High-Rise Building projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and UAE building regulations.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Residential Towers, Commercial Buildings, Hotels, and High-Rise Developments.

• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
