Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Civil Project Coordinator to act as Client Representative for a major warehouse build and fit-out. You will coordinate between management, consultants and contractors, ensuring technical reviews and site supervision drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will oversee drawings, layouts, BOQs, QA/QC, and payments, with strong communication and regulatory know-how. A valid UAE driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on onsite construction and fit-out experience in UAE.
• Experience client-side or consultant-side preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOQs, QA/QC, and payment reviews.

Responsibilities

• Technical Review of drawings, layouts, specifications and BOQs to identify discrepancies and gaps.
• Site Supervision across all project phases from groundworks to MEP coordination.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve bottlenecks and track actions.
• Assess changes/variations for cost and schedule impact and verify completed works.
• Provide senior management with updates on progress, risks and decisions.
• Manage end-to-end handover inspections, approvals and final documentation.

Job description

We are seeking a technically proficient and results-driven Civil Project Coordinator to act as our Client Representative You will oversee a major civil warehouse build and fit-out project serving as the vital link between our management team consultants and contractors If you excel at site supervision technical reviews and driving projects to completion on time and on budget we want you on our team

Technical Review

Conduct thorough reviews of drawings layouts specifications and BOQs during project kick-off to identify discrepancies scope gaps and optimize primary data

Site Supervision

Monitor daily site progress and quality standards across all project phases from groundworks soil to build and structural phases to finishing and MEP coordination

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise proactively with consultants and contractors to resolve technical bottlenecks track action items and ensure seamless workflow

Commercial Oversight

Assess proposed changes and variations evaluating their impact on project costs and timelines Verify completed works and review payment applications alongside consultant certifications

Project Reporting

Provide senior management with concise accurate updates on project progress potential risks and critical decisions required

Handover Approvals

Manage end-to-end follow-ups for site inspections authority approvals snagging and final handover documentation

Education

Regular Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Experience

5+ years of hands-on onsite construction and fit-out experience in the UAE. Client-side or consultant-side experience is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

Strong expertise in construction methods, materials, specifications, BOQs, site supervision, QA/QC, variation assessments, and payment reviews.

Regulatory Knowledge

In-depth understanding of Dubai Authority approval procedures is a must.

Software Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel. Familiarity with AI-driven project management tools is a distinct advantage to keep pace with industry trends.

Communication

Exceptional technical judgment, communication, and follow-up skills.

Mobility

Valid UAE driving license is required.
