GINCO Cont. Co.

LLC is seeking a Senior Civil Site Engineer to coordinate technical drawings, review shop drawings against consultant designs, and draft method statements, risk assessments and ITPs for key activities on UAE residential, luxury villas and high-rise developments. The role requires 8–12 years of UAE site experience, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, and a valid UAE driving license; proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, and Primavera P6 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (attested).
• 8+ years of site engineering experience on UAE projects.
• Experience with luxury residential, villas and high-rise developments in UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical drawings across civil, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Review shop drawings against consultant designs to identify clashes and raise RFIs.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and ITPs for key activities.
• Manage WIRs and MIRs with the consultant.
• Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with drawings and safety regulations.
• Coordinate interface between civil, structural and finishing works to avoid rework.
• Track materials and ensure test certificates are filed.
• Verify on-site quantities and support monthly claims.
• Maintain drawing registers, RFI logs, site correspondence and daily work allocation sheets.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing Coordination
• Review structural and architectural shop drawings against consultant designs identifying clashes and raising RFIs
• Method Statement Formulation Draft comprehensive Method Statements Risk Assessments and Inspection Test Plans ITPs for key activities
• Inspection Request Management Raise and track Work Inspection Requests WIRs and Material Inspection Requests MIRs with the consultant
• Subcontractor Technical Monitoring Ensure subcontractors follow approved engineering drawings construction methodologies and safety regulations
• Site Interface Coordination Coordinate seamlessly between civil structural MEP and specialized finishing contractors to avoid rework
• Material Tracking Track material take-offs monitor delivered materials against approved samples and ensure test certificates are filed
• Progress Verification Verify completed physical quantities on site and support the quantity surveying team with monthly claims
• Reporting Documentation Maintain updated drawing registers RFI logs site correspondence and daily work allocation sheets

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (attested with equivalency & MOFA); 8+ years of site engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

AutoCAD, BIM / Revit proficiency; Primavera P6 basic scheduling awareness.

Professional Licenses / Certifications

Valid UAE Driving License.

Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience

8–12 years in UAE civil contracting focusing on residential, luxury villas, and high-rise developments.
