Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a technically strong Civil Project Engineer to oversee construction projects in the UAE, starting with our Al Quoz development. You will review drawings, monitor site progress, and coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure quality, cost control and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include evaluating variations, reviewing payment applications, and providing concise progress updates to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of building construction experience, including UAE projects.
Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications and BOQs.
Practical site supervision, quality control, variations and payment reviews.
Knowledge of Dubai authority procedures.
Excellent command of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Monitor site progress and quality across civil, structural, finishing and MEP coordination works.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues and track actions.
Assess proposed changes, variations and their cost and timeline implications.
Verify completed works and review payment applications alongside consultant certifications.
Provide management with concise updates on progress, risks and decisions required.
Follow up on inspections, approvals, snagging and handover documentation.
