Job summary

Visara Partners seeks a proactive Project Engineer to manage residential building projects (G+4) in Dubai. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and procurement to meet quality and safety standards.

This hands-on role requires strong planning, site execution, daily progress reporting, and close collaboration with the Project Manager to resolve issues and maintain comprehensive site records.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of UAE construction experience.
• Residential G+4 project experience required.
• Experience handling multiple small-to-mid projects (AED 2M–4M).
• Strong knowledge of project planning and site execution.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Project Engineer to manage and execute residential

building projects (G+4).

The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality and

safety standards. The candidate will coordinate closely with site teams, subcontractors, procurement,

and management to ensure smooth execution.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong control over site activities, planning, and coordination.

Scope of Activities

1. 1. Execute works as per drawings and specifications Ensure all site activities are carried out strictly as per approved drawings and technical requirements.


2. 2. Check levels, alignment, and measurements Verify accuracy of dimensions, levels, and workmanship at site.


3. 3. Ensure use of latest drawings Use only approved/latest drawings and remove outdated drawings from site.


4. 4. Raise RFIs and follow up Identify technical gaps, raise RFIs, and ensure timely resolution.


5. 5. Coordinate daily site activities Work closely with foremen, subcontractors, and labour teams for smooth execution.


6. 6. Ensure material and resource availability Plan and confirm availability of materials, tools, and equipment in advance.


7. 7. Report daily progress and issues Provide regular updates to Project Manager on progress, delays, and site issues.


8. 8. Manage inspections and quality checks Prepare IRs/MIRs, coordinate inspections, and ensure closure of comments.


9. 9. Ensure proper material handling and workmanship Monitor curing, protection, and correct usage of materials.


10. 10. Ensure safety compliance on site Enforce PPE usage, report unsafe practices, and support safety measures.


11. 11. Maintain site records and documentation Maintain site diary, progress reports, measurements, and photographic records.


12. 12. Maintain activity logs Record concrete works, steel works, and material delivery logs.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering


• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction projects in UAE


• Mandatory: Proven experience in residential building projects (G+4)


• Experience / capable in handling multiple small-to-mid projects (AED 2M – 4M range)


• Good understanding of project planning and site execution activities
