Job summary

Al Saifi Building Contracting LLC in Dubai is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Site In-Charge to lead site execution for mid-rise building projects. The role requires strong civil engineering expertise, Arabic fluency, and proven leadership on UAE sites.

You will coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensure compliance with drawings and schedules, and drive quality, safety, and progress up to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of building construction experience in the UAE.
• Experience in G+4 or higher building projects.
• Fluent Arabic in speaking and writing.
• Experience as Senior Site Engineer / Project Engineer / Construction Engineer or Site In-Charge.
• Strong site knowledge in structure, blockwork, plaster finishing, MEP coordination, inspections, and handover.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Ability to lead site teams, subcontractors, foremen and workers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and ensure work follows drawings, specs, and schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers, foremen, and workers.
• Follow up inspections, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and site docs.
• Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, quality, safety, and progress.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update management.
• Support planning, procurement, cost control, testing, commissioning, snagging, handover.

We are hiring: Senior Project Engineer / Site In-Charge – Building Construction

Al Saifi Building Contracting LLC is looking for a strong Civil Engineer to lead site execution for mid-rise building projects in Dubai, including G+8 / G+11 type projects.

This role is suitable for an experienced Project Engineer, Senior Site Engineer, Construction Engineer, or Site In-Charge who is ready to take higher responsibility and manage daily site execution under company management.

Please apply only if you have real building construction experience in the UAE and you are able to handle site execution, consultant coordination, subcontractors, manpower, inspections, quality, safety, and daily progress follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers, foremen, and workers.

• Monitor manpower, materials, productivity, quality, safety, and site progress.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and update management on project status.
• Support planning, procurement, cost control, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover.

• Ability to lead site teams, subcontractors, foremen, and workers.
• Good knowledge of consultant inspections, site documentation, quality, safety, and Dubai construction procedures.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
• Candidate must be practical, organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure.

Additional Information

Important: This position is intended for a strong site-based engineer ready to grow into a Project Manager role. Candidates with only fit-out, facility management, maintenance, or office-only experience are not suitable for this role.
