Qualifications

• Proficient in reading drawings and BOQs; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule project activities; develop look-ahead plans.
• Lead site execution and coordinate trades to ensure quality.
• Secure approvals from clients and authorities; liaise with DM, DCD, DEWA, RTA, SIRA.
• Manage manpower, materials, and reduce wastage; monitor productivity.

About Our Client

On behalf of a highly respected and growing UAE-based construction company we are seeking an autonomous results-driven Project Manager. Our client is known for delivering residential developments with precision and efficiency. They are looking for a hands-on leader capable of taking absolute ownership of G4 residential build projects from groundbreaking to final handover.

Role Summary

The Project Manager takes full commercial technical and operational accountability for the completion of residential building projects (G4). This role demands an assertive leader who can comfortably balance site control authority approvals manpower optimization and stakeholder communication. You will ensure that your projects are delivered safely within budget and on schedule while maintaining flawless alignment between subcontractors consultants clients and internal management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Masterfully analyze project drawings BOQs contracts and specifications to establish project schedules and detailed look-ahead plans. Actively mitigate delays with corrective actions.
• Site Execution Leadership: Direct plan and coordinate daily site activities across all distinct trades and subcontractors verifying dimensions and quality standard benchmarks before inspections occur.
• Authority & Inspections Liaison: Secure necessary approvals from clients and consultants. Coordinate and manage complex inspections with key UAE authorities including DM DCD DEWA RTA SIRA etc.
• Resource & Material Control: Optimize workforce utilization plan manpower and closely track labor productivity and overtime. Raise material requests in advance verify incoming quality/quantity control concrete works and aggressively minimize material wastage.
• QA/QC & Health and Safety: Maintain rigorous QA/QC compliance close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) promptly enforce strict site safety protocols and conduct vital toolbox talks.
• Reporting & Handover: Host coordination meetings compile detailed minutes and deliver transparent daily weekly and monthly progress/risk reports to corporate management. Manage final testing commissioning snag-list closure and the acquisition of the DM Completion Certificate.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience: Around 5 years of robust construction experience with a mandatory track record of managing residential building projects (G4) within the UAE.
• Local Knowledge: In-depth practical familiarity with UAE municipality and authority approval procedures compliance workflows and processes.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Highly proficient in analyzing construction drawings BOQs specifications and using AutoCAD. Strong leadership presence excellent reporting and communication skills and a proven ability to solve complex site challenges on the fly.
