We are a premier recruitment agency hiring on behalf of a leading construction firm in the UAE. Our client specializes in delivering high-quality mid-sized residential developments and is currently seeking a proactive, hands‑on Project Engineer to oversee and drive site execution for their residential (G+4) projects.

Role Summary

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, technical execution, and coordination of residential building projects. You will act as the vital link between the site teams, subcontractors, procurement, and project management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a site-based role requiring a strong physical presence, sharp attention to detail, and exceptional coordination skills.

Scope of Activities

• Site Execution & Quality Control: Execute construction works strictly according to approved, up-to-date drawings and technical specifications; immediately eliminate outdated drawings from the site.
• Technical Verification: Rigorously check site dimensions, levels, alignment, and overall workmanship to guarantee absolute accuracy.
• RFI Management: Proactively identify technical gaps or discrepancies on‑site, raise Requests for Information (RFIs), and follow up diligently for rapid resolution.
• Daily Coordination: Manage and direct foremen, subcontractors, and labor teams to maintain seamless, productive daily site operations.
• Resource Planning: Forecast, plan, and verify the advance availability of all required materials, tools, plant, and equipment.
• Inspections & Logs: Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), coordinate inspections, close out comments, and accurately maintain daily logs for concrete, steel, and material deliveries.
• Safety & Documentation: Enforce safety compliance and PPE usage on‑site. Maintain meticulous site documentation, including the site diary, progress reports, measurements, and photographic evidence.
• Progress Reporting: Keep the Project Manager consistently informed with clear updates on daily progress, potential delays, and structural site challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of construction industry experience within the UAE.
• Project Portfolio: Mandatory proven experience working on residential building projects of G+4 structures.
• Commercial Capability: Experience or clear capability in handling multiple small-to-mid-sized projects concurrently, specifically within the AED 2M – 4M value range.
• Technical Knowledge: Exceptional understanding of project planning, site execution methodologies, and proficiency in AutoCAD.
