Job summary

Flowserve Dubai is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate end-to-end valve supply orders, manage technical approvals, procurement, and financial documentation across cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires engineering background in mechanical/production/instrumentation and 7+ years in valve projects, with strong MS Office skills and experience dealing with global customers. You will collaborate with buyers, finance, engineering, and suppliers to maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate in mechanical, production or instrumentation engineering.
• Diploma with 10+ years of project management experience.
• 7+ years in valve industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience dealing with global customers.
• Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Effective verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and booking orders after reviews.
• Coordinate with Buyer for material orders with correct specifications.
• Expedite with suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• Submit technical documents and arrange client approvals.
• Coordinate with Finance for bank guarantees and progress invoices.
• Arrange shipment and post-order documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders as necessary.
• Ensure orders ship within contractual delivery times.
• Coordinate with Engineering for drawing approvals.
• Support production with guidance on spec deviations and waivers.
• Lead production planning meetings across departments.
• Prepare Inspection and Test plans.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role Summary: As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate the end-to-end execution of valve supply orders, managing technical approvals, procurement, financial documentation, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Understanding technical and commercial requirements of the contract,


• Booking the order in the system after technical and commercial review.


• Coordinate with Buyer for ordering materials with right technical specifications


• Expediting with suppliers' /manufacturing sites.


• Technical Document submission and arrange approval by client.


• Coordinate with Finance team for Bank guarantee submissions, progress payment invoices


• Coordinate with other functions and arrange for shipment of order, complete post order documentation.


• Coordination with third party inspection agencies.


• Coordination with freight forwarders as and when necessary.


• Ensure orders are shipped within contractual delivery time.


• Coordinate with Engineering team and obtain drawing approvals from the customer


• Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance on specification deviations and waiver, and other activities as required


• Conduct production planning meeting to communicate the product requirement, specifications, timeline etc. to all applicable departments including Engineering, product management, production, quality, procurement etc.


• Prepare Inspection and Test plans


• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Engineering graduate in mechnaical, production or instrumentation engineering .


• Candidates with Diploma with 10+ years of experience in project management shall be considered .


• 7+ years related experience in valve industry


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.


• Exposure to dealing with global customers
