Job summary

Bu Haleeba Contracting LLC in Dubai seeks a Project Coordinator/Technical Engineer to support the Project Management Team. You will monitor submission schedules, prepare weekly and monthly reports and coordinate submittals, drawings, method statements and logistics.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction coordination or technical engineering, with UAE experience preferred. A civil/ construction engineering degree is favored, and strong communication and QA/QC understanding are

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination, technical engineering, or a similar role.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Good understanding of shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and construction documentation.
• Good understanding of project quality and QA/QC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and coordination support to the Project Management Team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly engineering and project reports.
• Monitor engineering submission schedules in line with the approved project programme.
• Coordinate material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, temporary works designs and logistics plans.
• Ensure required technical documentation is available and implemented to support project delivery.
• Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan and applicable QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate technical submissions and design deliverables in line with construction requirements and client expectations.
• Prepare and raise RFIs for missing, conflicting, or unclear architectural, structural, MEP and specialist-work information.
• Inform the Quantity Surveying team of drawing revisions, specification changes or site instructions that may have commercial impact.
• Follow up with subcontractors and suppliers on technical submissions and engineering deliverables.
• Attend supplier or factory visits when required and provide technical feedback and assessment.
• Maintain proper engineering records, documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
