Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Control Specialist I to support cost control, forecasting and financial reporting for PMC Portfolio projects. You will maintain project control data, analyze performance, and prepare reports in collaboration with finance, HR and other internal teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and cross-functional teamwork to manage budgets, ETC/EAC updates, and invoicing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
3+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, or project reporting.
Experience in engineering consultancy, PMC, oil & gas, infrastructure or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WBS aligned with approved budget and cost sheets.
Prepare PCS and FCS.
Assess ETC and update EAC forecasts based on manpower and scope.
Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, EAC and budget.
Enter and update task codes and sell rates in ERP-Oracle.
Perform system checks to ensure revenue, cost and gross margin accuracy.
Coordinate with finance, HR and others to resolve data issues.
Prepare and upload resource plans into project control systems.
Prepare MMRs and supporting documents for client review and approval.
Prepare invoices and follow up for client payments.
Support month-end activities including accruals and revenue recognition.
Run snapshots and reports in Ecosys or other platforms for forecasting and reporting.
Develop dashboards and project performance reports using Power BI and Excel.
