The Primary Inclusion Teacher will work at the intersection of classroom teaching, targeted learning support, and individual student development. The central purpose is to remove barriers to learning so that children with SEND and other additional needs can participate meaningfully in lessons and progress alongside their peers. Working collaboratively with class teachers, families, and the wider inclusion team, the teacher will identify appropriate support strategies, adapt curriculum access, and develop personalised approaches that respond to each learner 's strengths and needs. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor 's degree in Education or a relevant subject together with a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or an equivalent credential. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and effective primary classroom practice is essential. Candidates should bring practical experience supporting children with SEND, additional learning needs, or inclusion requirements within a primary school environment. A sound understanding of differentiation, personalised learning, intervention strategies, and inclusive teaching practice is required. The teacher should be capable of motivating learners across a broad range of abilities while maintaining ambitious yet realistic expectations for individual progress. Excellent interpersonal skills are important because the position involves close collaboration with class teachers, inclusion colleagues, students, and families. A constructive team approach and willingness to participate in the wider academic and community life of the school are equally important.
