Key Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND across secondary phases through personalized learning strategies and targeted intervention plans
• Work closely with teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practices and differentiated learning experiences
• Assist in identifying student learning needs and implementing effective support systems
• Promote academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing for students requiring additional support
• Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to ensure consistent student development
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of intervention outcomes and support plans
• Provide guidance to staff on inclusive education strategies and SEND best practices
• Contribute to school‑wide inclusion initiatives, student wellbeing programmes, and safeguarding priorities

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching Secondary SENDco and supporting inclusive education
• Strong understanding of SEND strategies, student wellbeing, and intervention planning
• Excellent classroom collaboration and teacher support abilities
