Qualifications

• Pricing or commercial role experience in freight forwarding (2–5 years).
• Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare freight quotations for air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and inland transportation.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to obtain competitive rates.
• Maintain and update rate sheets and contracts.
• Support sales team with pricing strategies and margin analysis.
• Ensure accurate costing including freight, surcharges, customs, and local charges.
• Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and competitor pricing.
• Negotiate rates with vendors to improve profitability.
• Ensure pricing complies with company policies and customer requirements.
• Maintain pricing data in CRM / ERP systems.
• Respond promptly to pricing requests and RFQs.
• Assist in tenders and contract pricing for key accounts.
